Class sessions are hosted over eight months and include an exploration of leadership styles and a set of community values known as The Columbus Way, as documented throughout the community over the last 70 years. As part of the class, participants will create a personal leadership philosophy and discuss in-depth emerging community topics such as civic leadership, equity, and public-private partnerships. Class participants will also take part in a series of externships and the community plunge providing the opportunity to visit non-profit agencies.
